Jeff is currently a Captain on the Boeing 717 for a legacy airline. Jeff began his airline career flying the CRJ for a large regional carrier. Prior to his current legacy airline position, he flew for a leading worldwide cargo carrier flying the B-727, B-777, and A-300 aircraft both domestically and internationally.
Jeff has held both Line Check Airman and Assistant Chief Pilot positions at a leading Part 121 airline. He has over 5 years experience being a member of pilot hiring boards conducting pilot interviews, screening applications, formatting resumes, and attending recruitment/hiring events. He is also a founding partner of ConvertMyLogbook.com, a logbook transcription service to convert pilot logbooks into a variety of digital logbook programs used by thousands of pilots around the world.
Jeff graduated Cum Laude from Western Michigan University’s Aviation Flight Science program. He built his initial flight time by giving nearly 2000 hours of flight instruction as a FAR Part 141 Check Instructor. Jeff’s diverse background from instructing and worldwide major airline operations, to pilot hiring/interview teams, gives him a unique opportunity to coach interview preparation. When not flying, Jeff can be found boating with his wife and daughter.
